Well, as stated before, I really want to get my hands on the galaxy carrier/transport ship and therefore pimp and save all the galaxyscreens I can get my hands on.

BUT, when it comes to colorschemes..I mean my god..

TR Galaxy = beautiful, oh so beautiful
NC Galaxy = my god, its soo ugly =/
VS Galaxy = Haven't seen one yet.

Anyone kind enough to post links to the three aircrafts so you can see them all here, and then you would understand me.

I have no idea whatsoever which faction to join, but considering I am somewhat of an supportive player and want to help anyone needing, NC seems good, perhaps TR, but NC galaxy is so friggin ugly I just might skip the entire faction because of it. No color, just looks like..plate all over with a little squish of paint on the side of it =/. Can you not make the yellow-blu colors all over it (like red and black for TR) instead of an bizarre grey patern =/.

Just a question, but it seems a bad decision to me, that is all, please feel free to "instruct me" or in any other way bring your opinions forward on this matter, telling me I am wrong, or right, or if you just dont care but still want to have a say.

(Take no offense, the models and ships are really beautiful especially the TR Galaxy type, but it does not do the model right to have such boring colors. If I have provoked and/or upset anyone, I am sorry, not my intent).

Heh. Yeah, the only color scheme I've ever liked is the TR one. But since the few members of my guild that will be playing this game want to play Vanu.... Guess I'll be joinin' 'em.

VS = teh sux
NC = Freedom fighters, and what better reason to fight than for your right to freedom. Freedom that has been taken away from us by a government sworn to uphold it...

Hey, reading those messages (something I'm concerned about is the message system), a TR MAX was just smoked by a Lancer just before you took the SS.

That message system is a standard in FPS and MMORPG games thou.... whats your concern with it?

Heres my concern with it - I want text not graphics.

I want it to say "Hamma kills A1337dev with a Lancer" not some stupid graphic that I have to squint to see what it is, so I hope thats configurable!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the NC galaxy is ugly, they'll probably change it like the TR. And yeah, those graphics are weird.

Each Empire actually has 3 colors. The main ones are of course red and black for TR, gold and blue for NC, and teal and purple for Vanu. The ones that no one really notice is the face that each side also has a shade of gray in its color scheme. TR having a very dark gray, NC having a very light gray, and the VS with a medium gray i guess.

If you look at the Galaxy closely, you can actually tell the difference between the black and the dark gray. And since the NC have this light gray, it in turn looks ugly as hell.

And as to how i know this? A little dev told me.

thats not a lancer, its a Phoenix missile launcher. meaning a NC fragged the max with a guided rocket.

ya i have to admit.. many things in this game are a bit little just sorta.. ugly. not graphic wise.. just maybe the textures. and player models.

TR vehicles look 10x better than any other side's because the TR have a base colour of black for every one of their vehicles, with red markings on it. From a distance you wouldn't really be able to tell an NC Galaxy from a VS Galaxy, but you'll know if it's a TR Galaxy, because the entire thing is jet black with some cool crimson red bits. The Republic is by far the most distinct visually, in my opinion (although Vanu obviously stand out in a crowd with many of their weapons firing colourful bolts/beams of energy here and there).

Oh, and screenshots never do a game justice, so don't get too caught up on them.
