Traveling between Continents?

I just want to know what is going to be the method of transportation between these continents? We will have 6000 players in one server at launch (which will most likely increase with the addition of new continents) and i know traveling between continents with your squad is a big integral part of gameplay if say your faction is in desperate need of troops in other parts of Auraxis.

Any thoughts?

Yep. Though I wish it were practical to do massive intercontinental invasions via conventional means, it's for bandwidth purposes the continents are divided the way they are.

Are those usually located at the edge of continents or? Sorry im just not familiar ive never played PS1

Basically the empire footholds on the continent also serve as the warpgates between continents.

Yep! No one knows exactly how it will work because the other conts aren't open yet. But we're all naturally assuming that it's like PS1. You enter a pad inside the warpgate that acts almost as a teleportation device and you can select the continent to move to. Unlike PS1 however, you only have one choice of gate to appear in, instead of several.

The warp gate already has the inter continent warp.. It's the big glowing cylindrical pedestal
