I'm not frustrated, complaining or uptight about it. I move on with my life and am content in the faith I have placed in Planetside 2.

Beta hasn't started yet, so you wouldnt know whether or not you got chosen

What has been going on is a tech test, that was only about the computer specs and nothing more.

Lol well it's technically saturday right now so unless in the next 48 hours I get an invite I'm fully assuming at this moment that I didn't get an invite.

It's really okay. Beta is not even a game anyways, it's a development phase.

Yeah the sticky thread that use to here stating it started on the 12th July wasnt actually the official beta.

The beta is going in waves so most people won't get one when beta immediately starts. Vets are going to make up the bulk of the first wave if not all of it, so they are going to be the ones seeing invites first.

Have they even officially announced when they'll begin to invite people for the beta? As far as we know, all they've announced is that beta will probably start Monday or Tuesday. Who knows, maybe some of us have already been invited to beta

It could indeed move back, Smedley, correctly, made it clear that it could be pushed back if an unforeseen error pops up. Even with the technical test, invites do take a while to send out. I speculate and I'll probably be wrong, but more invites could be sent out in one day than all the people in the tech test combined. As a PCG key, I'm not worried whatsoever about beta, well get in before September. If I don't, good, SOE are working on the build and it'll be a cleaner build for when I do join.
