hey guys, this is pissing me off.
i got the planetside 1 reserves 14 day trial thing, i installed it, and when i try to log in via this launch pad thing (yes, i did make an account), this happens. and when i click on create new account on the launch pad, THIS happens. and when i press yes, it shows page cannot be found. this has something to do with a certificate or something. my internet connection is FINE, this is the only thing that stuffs up. i did re-install it allot, etc, but when i first installed it, it came up with a firewall saying should i "allow access to public or private internet". i selected both, as i am the admin, but, in case i did something wrong, how do i get this option back? anyway, the question is how to fix this problem (refer to the first image)? i want to experience the first planetside! has anyone else had the same problem, and/or resolved it? remember, this is the TRIAL VERSION, not the subscription-based one. i have a friend who got the exact same thing as me at about the same time as me, and his works fine. remember, this is v1.75. do i have to update it or something? note: if you guys are wondering why the planetside launchpad shortcut image is different, it is because i changed it. also, when i had first installed this trial, the shortcut would load, but then would just close, and nothing would come up. i fixed this problem by going to the shortcut's destination, deleted that shortcut, and replaced it with another one. ps: you may want to zoom up on the pictures so you can see the words, sorry Last edited by camycamera; 2012-07-31 at 03:29 AM. |

"The PlanetSide Reserves trial program ends March 24, 2007, regardless of when you sign up."
You are just over 5 years too late to be attempt the reserves program. Either your friend is pulling your leg or he got a bugged account.

Old launchpad is old. Go to www.Planetside.com and click 'Download Planetside' button in top left corner of webpage. This will get you the new launchpad.

They used to have free trials (The Reserves program). It had to be shut down unfortunately due to exploits and hackers that created a new free account after getting banned and hacking all over again. I agree that the website should have such things removed.
