You should be fairly comfortable I think with that. The GPU isn't half bad for the mobile side.

I know it isnt all about clockspeeds, but dont laptops like that usually stay below 3ghz? Like.. my Asus from 4 years back with Core2Duo had more clockspeed than majority of these fancy gaming laptops nowadays. Not sure what's up with that?

Keep in mind his processor is a quad core with HT. The base clock is 2.3GHz with turbo up to 3.3GHz.

You can't directly compare clock speed between different architectures.
Pentium 4's ran between like 2.6 and 4ghz. The initial Core 2s didn't go past 3...yet they were much better.
