Yesterday I was lucky enough to snag a beta key on PSU's Beta Key Exchange. I was delighted and really looked forward to helping the PS2 dev team improve the game (yes, I actually DO test in beta's ).
However, I've been completely unable to register the beta key so far I've had a Station account since 2004 (SWG days).
I also received a phone call from my bank to check that a billing attempt by SOE was in fact a legit transaction, which means the CC details were correct in their system. Unfortunately, it's another 10 hours before Live Chat support opens for business, so I'll have to wait a while before I can follow-up this issue further. I'm just wondering if it's still possible for euro customers to create new SOE Station account and use euro-based credit cards as a payment method ? Any euro players here who have been able to register beta keys ? |

im from germany and i have an active sub paying with direct debit
looks like the problem can only be solved by the support.. creat a new account and enter the beta key there? Last edited by dafuq; 2012-08-03 at 03:42 AM. |

And euro customers can no longer buy an "All Access Pass" for SOE games, we have to sub individually to each game if they are not F2P. And PSS1 only allows access to DCUO at this stage it seems, with no equivalent to the SOE "All Access Pass" yet. Imho, it's a mess currently... |

I know SOE is in the proccess of moving all it's Euro business over to Pro7, I don't know if that would effect it.
You might have just selected a bad time to sign up at during the switch over. then again using a beta key shouldn't be effected by your station account if you've had it since 2004

I'm inclined to think it's a legit key, because the error msg says that it can't be applied to my account due to the "account status".
But error message texts are not always completely accurate... Hopefully Live Chat support can clear this up. I just wanted to check if any other euro-based players have been able to activate beta keys without any hassles. |
