Does anyone else find it bad that you now can't do epic last stands in a base because the enemy can capture it without needing to even enter the base it seems?

it shows right in the video that a lot of the capture points are inside the base, but i agree that battles for a base will be much shorter and will probably involve a lot of capping/recapping of the points.

That's kinda the point actually....

1 of the things they found in PS1 that was problematic was that every base boiled down to an infantry push through tight hallways at the only hack station.

This new layout creates a lot more outside combat and vehicle presence in base capping.

You'll still have a lot of that interior corridor fighting at those cap points that are inside, and holding the majority of points is what's key to winning a base, so those points will all be important.

The difference is that you aren't tunneled all into 1 point. You have tactical options as an attacker and as a defender you must be able to counter any of them. Far more dynamic.

QFT.

If you want a last stand....defend that "strong hold" base.

Why wouldn't there be...?

Looks to be good diversity within these bases. Looks fun, now they just have to fix the MAX.
