Lol good luck to all of those who fight for 4 beta keys against a thousand other guys, luckily i've gotten a key from twitter so i'm glad i don't have to deal with the fight over those keys

I gave up on trying to get one beta. At least, they could give us an ETA on when it will be released, or even Open Beta, it would be more conforting than standing a whole F5ing the browser, wishing for a key that never comes, and on twitter, where they won't see your messages, asking for a key.

I'll stick to the forum. Less chaos, more things to do.

PS: He most have realized he sad too mush and deleted the post. But I think it's safe to say that this game won't come out before Dec 2012 at least.

They start the giveaway at 9am, and they give away keys every 30 to 60 minutes. So its quite fine for the people that are working. I've got my key while I was at work. Didn't get fired yet.

And yes, you have to spam f5 on both SOE keyline and facebook page. Since SOE logs you out if you are inactive.

and then you want to enter the key, but you need to login again, and your key is prolly gone by then

Where do you enter any of these keys? Is it in the boxes on the planetside 2 homepage or when you log into your account and go to redeem game?

on the planetside 2 homepage you need to write it box by box

redeem game key is easier and faster, doubleclick on the key, ctrl + c, alt + tab, ctrl+v, save

I think I got in, I tried several times yesterday but was too late every time and got a message about the key being used already. Just now though I got redirected to my account page instead. I wish there was a way for me to confirm that I'm in.

Login and check your game pass info and if you have successfully redeemed a beta code it will say planetside 2 account active.

It says "Game pass inactive", but these are just priority keys so I wonder if they toggle our accounts active at once.

I had a priority key months ago and it instantly changed to active after i entered the code.

Damn shame, I'll have to try again. They release them every 60 min exactly so it isn't very hard to time it in but there are probably hundreds of people trying to get them so the chances are still slim.

If you haven't gotten a key, you aren't trying. Several of us have gotten twitter keys, many of us multiple ones.

My count is up to 6, all my friends and GF will now be in beta. I got a couple with fanart, and the others by being witty or just plain asking nicely. The primary function of the main @planetside2 twitter is to give out keys all day long. The devs there have also tweeted that many just aren't checking their DM's which is where the keys are sent.

Dont spam the devs, spend more than 45 secs. I got my whole squad in that way.

Oh man comment poster after 2 second when I updated, selected the code on the bottom and this time I was confirmed for being in. Being stubborn pays off.
