working on a sig need some advice...

so im new to the Planetside universe, soo pretty fresh..
but im pretty into it already and i yet to still play the beta(witch i hope soon )

im working on a sig/wallpaper just for some fun .. plz look at he image and offer any advice or suggestion..all i done is setting the images and layers in place before i start make it look pretty...
the reason for what im aiming for in this sig is all from a quote and i want to recreate something along those those lines.The reason for for the lil kid is that one day when he grows up he will become a freedom fights for the NC lol.

ok 1 day later on a serious note ...

The charecters in the foreground look too removed from the landscape in the background .

I think partly because the perspective is wrong given how close the foreground chars appear to be to the base and the aircraft , and partly due to the colours in the forground chars being too strong in comparison to the background . It looks a little like a bad blue/green screen shot .
