I didn't have any painkillers for the first 1.5hrs after I got mine taken out. That was a pain I really don't want to experience again.

Had mine out about 2 years ago.. wasn't that bad surprisingly I guess I just got lucky.

I really need mine out... I've been putting it off because I really don't want to go through it.

I hate dental work. It's not so much the pain that's a problem, but the the knowledge that they're drilling / scraping / sanding my teeth.

Ugh.

I've had mine out for several years at this point. The op was fine, being passed out makes things easy. The recovery takes a bit, get ready to sleep a lot. People have different reactions to it though. I was pretty much a corpse but I know others who have driven themselves home after the op. Pain lasts for a few days but after that it's fine.

The pain is almost nonexistant, that's why people save their pain pills cause they don't need them.

Take your antibiotics though. Numbnuts here didn't, and got a fever for a week.
