Energy Weapons Questions.

1. How long can a energy weapon fire before overheating?

2. Can u carry more energy cells then ammo?

3. How long is the cooldown process?

4. Is there a little bvar that tells u wen its about to overheat?

5. If any beta testers respond, are the energy weapons good at all???

Feel free to post any questions on here or answer any issues not asked.

1, 3, & 4: Vanu weapons don't have heat problems.

2: unknown, probably the same NC and TR.

5: They do a bit less damage, but they work equally well against all targets. That way the vanu don't have to worry about having the right type of ammo against a certain enemy.

I was wondering about that. Of course, if they use common pool weapons, they'll still need ammo -- right? RIGHT?!??

Yes.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

Energy weapons use energy cells, shotguns use shells, normal guns use bullets, etc.

Normal guns use normal bullets and AP (Armor Piercing) bullets.
