Small things that make a big difference

As a PS1 vet and someone that likes to fly and ground pound I have found some things that immediate attention, many where all ready things we had and apparently took for granted in PS1.

1. You need to be able to lay more then one personal way point, 2 at a minimum, in PS1 you could lay 4. This is very important for pilots like my self as I put one way point on my target or area of interest and the other on the base that i'm going to be retreating to so I can re-arm/repair. With out this you can end up lost over enemy territory cut off surrounded and shot down very easily.

2. The way points need to show up on the mini map, and show up on the outer edge in the direction of the way point when you are not over it or can't see it on the mini map.

3. You need to be able to zoom in and out the mini map as desired.

4. Squad/Platoon mates need to show up on the mini map in number and color even when they are in vehicles on the ground or aircraft flying over head (just like in PS1).

5.Everything on the HUD needs to be fully customizable, drag and drop and sizable (just like in PS1), and you should make it so we can change its color as well

6. More detailed maps and information system awareness displays for all three maps, mini map, tactical map, and spawn map. I.e hot spots, control and capture point updates, squad and platoon mates positions and current actions, and current vehicles being operated.

7. Prone Position Please! Would be a nice update to the game from PS1 especial with the new cloaker being a dedicated sniper class.

I am perfectly fine with the re-imagined Planetside, but lets not loose some of the core features that where added through the years to PS1 to streamline and smoothen the game play and team play elements.

These are all sensible suggestions and I'd be astonished if they weren't already in the development plan (except maybe for no.1)

You made many very good points and your suggestions affects greatly on how the game feels and how you control your play! I sincerely hope these will make into the actual game. There were many things i've been missing already.

I can't wait for the final release version of the game, since it feels so good already even without all the little tweaks that will eventually show up!

I fully agree. HUD, minimap and the large map are a mess right now.
