true story:
my 1st WC3 CD, when I put it in, the entire top paint came off as a huge amount of powder! Destroyed the CD, and it was a bit of work to clean up too  **YES! WC3! Lets get it on! 10 sec later ... *** AHHH!!! there is a cloud coming out of my cdrom!!!!! AHHHH!! My disk my disk!!!! NOOOO!!!

A couple years ago there were problems with microsft game cd's they would litterally explode from the high spin speed of newer drives that and the use of cheap plastics. ive seen it happen myself when I worked at radio shack it can do serious damage to a drive to .
