Ok so I tried to fly a Galaxy for the first time yesterday and flying is pretty straight forward but i cant figure out how to land in a fashionable way.
When I reduce speed the Galaxy just hovers. It doesnt decrease altitude. But I have seen Galaxies hovering and going straight down without 'diving' |

I totally know what you mean by fashionable landing.
Ctrl is obviously the "Descend" key you are looking for. But I love turning my sensitivity to max when flying (via a quick adjust on my mouse) just so I can stick the awesome landings. Nothing beats coming in full speed and banking hard right and slightly up and finding that perfect balance of Ascend-Descend to land just right. I try to make every landing look like the cinematic in Starcraft 2 where Raynor comes in to rescue the marines on Char. |

In regards to this question, I feel that it is damn hard to make an emergency landing in any 1 or 2 man plane. I go from almost dying from getting shot up to suiciding from coming in to hot.
Then again I could just get better at flying. ha. |
