i hear its between 3 to 5 cart points in VR training. as for how fast you die well it depends on your skills and armor type a MAX can take out all inf ppl with AI MAX but if the inf have rockets your fu*cked so to say.

but a light armor can kill a medum or MAX armor if your skill is really good at the game most likey 1 to 10 you well die fast or slow depending on how many times they hit you and with what gun

BEP's = battle experience points

u gain them when u kill someone or go somewhere for the first time... when u get a certain amount of BEP's u gain a battle rank..

every time u gain a battle rank, u get 1 cert.. READ THE FAQ PEOPLE IT TELL ME THESE THINGS!! AND I ALSO READ OTHER POSTS

yeah the only reason beps matter is because they give you cert points when you get enough of them. so even if vr training only gives you beps if it gives you enough you will get cert points. Although the number that TRspcd stated seems a bit high to me. I remeber a dev sayong it was 2 cert points but i think that was a while ago. As for how long it takes to kill some1 only beta ppl know that and im not one of them.

I have heard numerous times that in VR training you can get up to command rank five.

You get BEPs for killing stuff, visiting stuff youve never been to before, capping stuff, etc.

You also get BEPs for training.

When you reach a certain amount of BEP, you gain a battle rank.

You can train up to rank 3 (not command rank, just normal battle rank) in the training simulator.

When you gain a battle rank, you are given cert points. This is the only way to get cert points. There is no other way, aside from the 2 you are given when you create your character.

So, to sum up, the original poster is correct in his assumption that training gives you cert points.

Culkids arguement is moot because the only way to get certs is to gain rank, and you can gain rank in the training simulator therefore you can gain certs.

To the posters second point, its quite easy to kill someone, you point your gun and shoot them! Theres an example of someone gaining 3 grief points for killing someone on the beta fileplanet video.

i think you can get up to a battle rank of 5 in VR training, so that is 6 certs.
