Honestly Windows 8 looks promising, but it just doesn't look like it'll be all that great. Microsoft asked Notch to certify Minecraft for Windows 8 and he declined. because he doesn't like the system being closed off. This looks like it'll be a situation where everyone will wait until the next iteration of Windows alah, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
