How similar is PS2 to PS1? I played PS1 briefly a long time ago, but I don't remember too much of it. However, PS2 looks glorious but I have yet to play it...due to how impossible it is to get a beta key apparently. So, I ask you guys, how similar are the two games?

We are still in closed beta. So, hard to tell you that. They've had the client stable as far as crashes and really bad FPS problems are concerned. They continue to optimize as they are going though. Working on character progression and meta-game stuff right now mostly. They patch changes into beta and then have the testers try it out. Then take the feedback and tweek the game again. Rinse, repeat. Come back in about 2 months and ask this again you might get a different answer.
