My roommate and I share the same internet connection, but not the same wireless routers. However, he was able to get into the beta, but I cannot.
In the status table on the KeyExchange page, I have "passed" everything with the exception of the "You may acquire one key per person" cell. So, does SOE use the IP of the internet connection, or the IP of the wireless router? Clearly it's not using the IP of my computer. Thanks. Cruor |

SOE is not involved in the KeyExchange other than giving us a stack of keys to give away. We have full control over how they are delivered, with that, we do have some abuse deterrence in place.
I have granted your account a key, you should see it in the KeyExchange. |

Duly noted.
However, I wasn't trying to contact any moderator per se, but was putting out a question for all to see if I could resolve the issue on my own. I can only imagine how busy you guys must be, and I figured that if I could find a solution utilizing the collective knowledge of my fellow forum members, it would be one less thing for you guys to worry about. Again, I really appreciate it, and appologize if I seemed out of line. -Cruor |
