I play for the NC, i also tried TR and Vanu.

I realy find my normal starter sniper OP. Or should i say... the others are pointless?


The TR sniper needed like 3-4 Hits to kill an enemy. Ok, it can fire faster. But based on the fakt that i would need 2 hits with the NC sniper, the TR is wierd to use with cloak.

I also tested the Vanu sniper when the NC camped the Warpgate. I'm not sure if i realy missed my headshots, but i'm 50% sure that i cant onehit enemys.

My point is.. i dont realy need to buy a better weapon for my NC sniper. Maybe later when all people will run around with better ammor. But right now i dont see any reason to buy a new sniper. since i have a better ammor and my medipack i'm not scared about other snipers anymore.

How are the tier2 snipers for your empire? Do you guys have any vid links for me? I realy love sniping and went 30-2 in a long siege fight last night. once again.. i wonder if its fair.

They are not just used for long range camping.
Semi auto is extremely useful in the right situation.

videos you say?
Like you I love sniping aswell. I have a few videos they are all linked below from newest to oldest. I mostly go for quick multi kills and or nice shots. check em out.

This was posted on the OF forums (by Yama I believe). It's about the VS scope.


As for my own thoughts, I don't think there should be a 1 shot kill sniper rifle.

I also hope that infiltrators are put into the game at some point.
