How to request ammo or healing

How do I request ammo, repairs or some healing?

I see people with an ammo symbol or tanks with a spanner etc, and hear their requests, but haven't figured out how to activate this.

Hold your Q key while aiming at a friendly soldier or vehicle. An action wheel will appear, the top choice on the wheel should be the most relevant support action (medic needed, i can repair you, transport needed) move your cursor up to highlight this option and then release your Q key. You may also use the voice commands by pressing the V key and hitting the number key that matches the phrase you want to say. 1-heal 3-repair 4-ammo
