I've always liked leading guilds/raids in RPGs and I think I do a good job but I'm also one that wants to be right in the action. Can you do both in PS or do you need to either stay back and command or be a grunt taking orders?
Lets say I want to reach command rank 5 where I can broadcast to the entire empire. Can I do that and still be in the action at all times? Also a little off topic here; can you talk to people in other empires while playing? |

well im guessing you could if you wanted to
I wonder if you die do you lose you commanding skills till you respawn? Back to you question i believe you could lead you troops into battle but if you had rank 5 you probably wouldnt wnat to becasue when the leader dies that attack dies. NO you cant talk to other empires while playin |

You'll be a crappy commander if you aren't contributing to the fight while you're commanding, not only because you aren't helping to physically win the battle, but because you won't have a good perspective on the situation.
You can broadcast and fight at the same time. Obviously you may get killed while typing, but that's why you should exercize a good use of brevity when broadcasting. You can't talk to people in other Empires via /tell (I think). Up close though I'm sure they can hear any sort of voice-taunts that are in the game (like with Tribes). |
