Poor EU Server Performance

... Is forcing me to consider rerolling on a US server. Any other EU players/outfits done this yet? What's the pop like during UK prime time? What sort of time is the server's prime time? Is there a noticeable improvement in server performance?

Just trying to get some idea if it's worth the used SC before I make the jump

I wonder what the problem is?

Not enough capacity? Poor bandwidth and high latency?

I wonder if all of Europe has one geographical location for their servers and if so, maybe making multiple regions, like the United States, would help?

Its getting better slowly, yesterday was bad but it got better at night time.

While I do play on Miller, gaming friends and myself all decided to roll on Matherson as it was "central" for our various locations.

And it is the best decision I have made in PS2 this week! During UK prime, its heaving on there. So many big groups have rolled on it, reddit, something awful, loads of big PS outfits from back in the day. Really picks up from around 3pm is my experience and carries on long long past midnight.

Latency is fine as well, nothing to complain about there.

So do it, make the switch!

It's nothing to do with geographical location within Europe. Amsterdam is fine and as above people report performance is fine playing from UK to US servers.

I can't speculate what it is I simply don't know but I hope the techies are still on the job.

Thanks. Miller certainly wasn't as bad last night, but at times it was still unplayable. Think I'll be making that switch tonight

I'm can't help wondering if the EU server problems are somehow related to the EU "distribution partner" ?

Or does ProSiebenSat only administer the accounts and the money collection ?

I thought that Pro7 was only responsible for account and community management, but after Miller started crashing and the SOE tech mods were telling people to raise Pro7 CS tickets I'm not so sure.

I haven't had a chance to play today, but after Smed tweeted last night that it was fixed, within 3 hours it was almost as bad. I think it crashed shortly after I logged in frustration.

was far better on Miller today, server went down once but all the crazy graphic bugs and lag were pretty much sorted.

UK based player pissed off with terrible lag tries Jaeger (US East Coast). Just as bad.

This is a game killer for me. Back to Firefall.

I DO NOT FEEL FUCKING VALUED as a EURO customer now. Had to lend my friend an account to play the first few days. And the servers go down all the time and don't run as well as the US servers.
