Before you retort that I'm racist, I'm not. The lagging from high pingers is ruining things during peak PST hours as it must be morning in Asia.

Seriously, get rid of this, it's endemic and degrading and they lag like hell.

Agree.

Ban Foreigners from playing on US servers. I dont want British people on my East Coast server, just like West Coast doesn't want Asians on theres.

Its a culture difference, a latency problem, and a problem upholding the integrity of the laws we agree to when we download and play the game (Hackers, etc).

Seriously, it's not fun at all and makes want to log off (which I just did).

Latency issues cripple this game more than any game mechanic IMO.

I think it is a reasonable complaint. I tried playing the game from the other side of the Earth and people were sending me tells nonstop with how badly I warp and/or "hack". It irritates people, and is why there are servers set up internationally. It has nothing to do with their being culturally different.

I don't like the warpers either, but if you restricted servers to location, lots of outfits would be separated from each other and that would be bad.

Well, to start, I heard one of the RT guys speaking Chinese (pretty sure) in proximity chat. Secondly, they have Chinese names. Thirdly, they lag like nuts... which is weird because the Aussies on Connery are fine.

its pretty easy to tell i would assume... but they could be Japanese or south korean (much more likely).

And the reason they are on the server is because of multi-national outfits, or because of a lack of their own servers (Australia tho..).

I play on Connary every now and then.

Im from the UK and it feels just the same as EU servers right now. Remember its was the world of players that kept Planetside 1 going for such a long time in its dieing years.

But I understand the frustration of Chinese lag

I really don't mind where people come from provided they don't warp and glitch like they are ghosts. You can spot these people in vehicles as well because they are all over the place.

The only reason I said china, is that they seemingly constitute the bulk of these insane warpers and they all come on at about the same time, which is peak time for us and morning for them. I've noticed more and more of them and obviously they were attracted to the "high pop" server on the list.

It's really bad and extremely annoying from a game play perspective.

Not sure why they tend to glitch more than other overseas people, maybe the great firewall of china? I don't know, but something has to be done.

.. Why would any WANT to play on your servers? Except maybe people who joined up with BRTD after the merge.

But in all honesty, don't lock servers from anybody. A lot of outfits have people from different countries thanks to the melting pot that was Gimini.

Old SOE costumers aren't region locked, could be ps1 CN. If they are Japanse or korean they don't have their own servers.
