Has the proximity chat changed from beta?

Hi
Has the proximity chat "always on" changed from beta? I've when i enable the proximity chat, it only works when i press button. In beta it was voice activated.
Help please..

Check your sound settings - I'm not aware of it being tweaked but anything is possible.

Thanks. Will try that. Did i understand right, the voice activation should work?
