Hi guys. I searched and couldn't find anything related to this...
Not sure how many people experience this but I've been dealing with some serious rendering issues in game for a while now. Basically infantry units frequently pop in and out of my screen. I often can't see enemy infantry even if I know exactly where they are unless I'm within 30 meters or so of them. Often times enemy infantry will pop in and out of my screen. This is becoming incredibly frustrating for me as someone who enjoys sniping. I'm sick of lining up a headshot only to see my target disappear a second before I fire, its getting old really fast. I'm sick of not being able to see people who aren't in close range of me, really makes it hard to snipe. I basically have to scope into an area where I know there are targets becauase they seem to appear better in my scope. If I'm unscoped I usually don't see anyone who's more than 30 meters away. It seems worse the larger the battle is. Has SOE commented on this issue? I really hope this is some kind of bug because if this is how this game is gonna be for years to come... It's gonna be a struggle. I'd take a stylized art style where I can actually see people in a battle over realism but people popping in and out of existence any day of the week. Any kind of immersion that I get from the beauty of this game is ruined by people coming in and out of existence all over my screen 24/7. |

You are not alone in seeing this happen. I'm an infiltrator myself and have seen this happen to some degree.
I am sure it's a known issue as I've watched it being reported even on twitter to Smedley directly. What you can do is report it in game to give it that much more fire, as well as follow the developers on twitter and start a conversation with them there.
