Very good job, thumbs up!
I especially like how the text is way more easy on the eyes than on the actual in-game maps (I kept calling Eisa "Elsa" for most of the beta because i didn't see the "i" lol). One thing i noticed doing a quick glance: The outpost behind (north of) the NC warpgate on Amerish is missing ("secret mine" something). |

Hey everyone, just wanted to point out a site I've been developing/conceptualizing since the tech test:
PlanetSide 2 Maps - http://ps2maps.com It's starting out pretty basic but I have a lot of features I'm developing right now including grid lines, hex territories, locations of all control points, spawn rooms, generators, vehicle terminals, etc... I should have all of those added in within the next week or so. In the near future I'm going to be adding in live multi-user drawing on the map as well as live integration with the PS2 data api so you can see a live representation of the in-game maps (territory ownership, enemy activity, etc)... Lots of cool stuff planned for it. Let me know what you think! I'll be posting here in the near future when I add new features. |

And yes, ultimately one of the big goals is to have a live, drag-n-drop interface where you can place the locations of enemy (or friendly) forces on the map. Then other squad or platoon or outfit members can view (or optionally edit) your map live and see all the same stuff. For example, you could mark the location of an enemy Sunderer on the map, then your outfit's squad/platoon of pilots will know exactly where to bomb when they fly in. It's going to be a very interactive tool for communicating strategy, positions and orders. |
