I attend the New Mexico Military Institute, and all the cadets have computers in their rooms, and we are all part of a network, and we have a firewall on the network that blocks a lot of shit......ya, it sucks. Its really hard to get media using P2P software, since all the applications ive tried, are blocked by the firewall. I thinks (but am definetly not for sure) that since i dont know the port number, user name, password, or how to unblock sertain ports, i have to find a application that isnt blocked. Ex- yahoo! chat isnt blocked, but msn messenger is. Does anybody know any p2p software that would be unblocked, or how to find software that isnt blocked besides simply downloading and testing the software? I've tried limewire, kazaa, and sharaza...or whatever its called.

Your best bet would probably be to have somebody else download things and send them to you via email or upload them to an FTP...

Jesus H, they've even got MSN blocked over there? Here at George Mason U. we've got IRC blocked, but not the main chat services. Heavy.
