Jumppack stops working

alot of the time when i am driving something and die inside of it the next time i play LA my jumppack does not work at all until i relog. as i play LA all the time it ruins my fun. is anyone else getting this issue? it seem like i am the only one in my outfit.

Yes, happens all the time... very annoying. I've found that only relog works, very annoying when you have primary ams at a good base fight.

The main reason I ended up more certs into Engy... for those times LA doesn't work for me.

I get this bug every now and then.

Maybe it's like the max suit bug, where the game is somehow remembering and/or forcing the last configuration upon you after death and since it turns off the fly button while in a vehicle, completely redoing your keymapping, it "remembers" that and never forgets, lol.

but if that was the case why would it still let me jump normally?

Massively annoying bug :\

There are some firefights where I have a huge overwhelming need to be LA. The death screen screams at me that im dying because I should be jetting over obstacle X and flank rather than run into the meatgrinder.

But then a LA without a jetpack is a sad thing, so I have waddle in as a heavy and eat CARV because the range isn't in the SAW sweet spot.

I love when I first discover my jetpack didn't work when the enemy see's me bunnyhopping in front of them. Little did they know I was actually trying to jump over them

My main class is LA and i used to get this alot. However since i got 4 cert bars outta 6 for the jump jets i havnt encountered this issue which is strange.

Just keep reporting it till they fix it.

Its really lame. And it didnt exist till the last major patch.

i have the jet max certed and still get it. i dont think the level affects it.

This bug existed in early beta and appears to have returned.

The bug in early beta cause the jets to cut in the middle of using them - seemingly randomly. They would work again second or so later. But it tended to get you killed in a fight.

The bug now is that randomly after respawning your jets wont work at all and can only be fixed by relogging.

This bug is exactly the one we had in beta (tbh i actually don't recall it ever being fixed). You respawn, and for some reason the jetpack doesn't work at all untill you re-log.
Very annoying and needs to be fixed.

Not sure if it's the same exact bug though. In beta my jetpack would sometimes work and not work in the same life over periods of a few minutes at a time, for instance I'd be climbing and then lose all thrust power and fall to my death. This seems like it either works 100% or doesn't 100%.

It seems to happen if you get killed while the jump pack is activated.
