Capping music

I think it would add more variety if during a cap you heard music of the faction that's about to take the base. As much as I like the TR music I feel like i'm missing out by not hearing any of the other factions. Imagine the coolness of hearing a guitar riff as reavers circle overhead, or a techno beat as magriders fill the amp station. Or the feeling that your line of prowlers are accompanied by the mighty String and Horn Sections of the Republic to your enemies.

Or would it just be annoying? Hmmm.

Any game music is annoying. I always turn it off. No matter the game.
It is just a loop and really gets boring, covers in game audio
and generally doesn't add a thing to the game.

Indeed, I think they did an awesome job with all the music in this game, which is why I wish I could hear more of it without starting a different character.

Hmm. I wouldn't mind that at all, OP. As much as I am loyal to the TR, VS have some kick ass combat music. Rodney said the other day that they aren't done implementing music yet and the rules by which they play, so you never know

It gives the game atmosphere and character
Also, I can say the same thing about gun fire and explosions. They can get repetitive and tiring real fast, especially since most weapons sound exactly the same. at least with music, there's always variety

If anything, I actuallly want there to be more music. I want continental themes to return, and combat/travel music doesn't play nearly enough

And another thing... Why are there always people ready to announce how much they play without music? I don't get it. I mean, good for you, but if we want more music that doesn't really change much for you does it?
