Does anyone use the Laser Sight? I play Heavy and Enginer

Does it give you an edge to have this?

I use it on my medic and love it. Its good for CQB reduced your hipfire cof.

It isn't bad for a support engineer. I'm usually only firing when the enemy surprises me and the laser helps shooting from the hip.

No offense but my /sarcasm meter went off on this. Can you let us know if this is an honest response or sarcasm and you actually felt it a waste of certs?

I was thinking of getting it for my CARV for a few loadouts or maybe the MCG since I ONLY hip fire that. And for my Medic NS-11 that has a silly tight COF as it is I hip-fire a lot.

Well if you're only going to be hipfiring then it should be a no brainer to get the laser sight

Its not only for hipfire HELPS line up the sight when you use a scope DUH!

it'd be a no brainer if I knew it was a noticeable difference. Much like many of the guns seem to get less benefit from a compensator/forward grip than others, that attachment isn't always a no-brainer.

i'm just wondering how much benefit and to which weapons? I had it on my LA during the first parts of beta, didn't seem to help that much and after the first character wipes never put it back on any of my guns.

The benefit may be somewhere around 20%~30% tighter cross-hairs. At least that's what it felt like.

I dig the laser sight. I picked it up on my Serpent and it seemed to make a pretty huge difference. Since switching to Vanu from NC, I've put that laser sight on just about everything I can. I notice the effect from it when hosing down a light assault that's floating around shooting me point blank.
