No XP for Ammo Sunderer?

Anyone else notice that you don't get XP as an Ammo Supply Sunderer unless the one getting ammo is in your squad? I don't even know if it works for platoons. Is this a bug or oversight or something? I mean, engineers get XP for giving anyone ammo but not the ammo sundy? I know other tanks are getting ammo (I've been on both sides, getting and giving ammo) but the only time I see XP is when it says I've gotten squad ammo resupply points.

I've been waiting to see if anyone else mentions it but so far I don't remember seeing anyone mention it before or acknowledge it as intentional or bug or whatnot. What have you guys seen? I mean, I'm all for being a nice sundy driver and giving out ammo for all but at least throw me a few XP for it, SOE.

And also, guys, especially NC, please get the ammo utility for your sunderers, it really helps on the front lines.

I get ammo for vehicles outside of my squad although I have noticed that occasionally it would stop giving me points after a while I am unsure if it was a bug or an intentional feature to prevent farming though.

I know that when I pull up to MBT's of which are firing rounds endlessly with my ammo sunderer, I rarely notice any XP gain. Either I'm not supplying, mind you I'm practically touching the guy, or it is bugged for some people. I can not confirm if whether or not the ammo XP is limited to squad mates.

Honestly, I'm rarely squadded (I haven't picked a new outfit yet so I've been lone wolfing a lot) and my ammo / AMS Sundy gets resupply XP all the time. As some have mentioned, sometimes it decides to stop doling out XP for a while but it works.

Yeah I noticed this too...

For some reason, Ammo Sundies don't like it when your squaded, as for some reason they'll only give you XP for your squadmates.

I've only ever seen XP from resupplying squad vehicles.
I'll avoid the non squad vehicles if I can so I dont take points away from who ever is supplying them in their squad.

Repair sundies don't get XP ever, not saying ammo sundies shouldn't ofc, but it could be worse.

It doesn't matter if you're in a squad or not, it just stops after a while. I just tested it. My sunderer didn't survive long enough to see if experience would start again, so maybe you can only get so much experience per sunderer.

It's probably some anti-exploit feature? Or a bug?

I've supplied so many tanks with my ammo sundy, I've maybe ONCE OR TWICE seen the XP. Bit annoyed if I've been missing XP all this time cause of some bug. :/

In either case, how much XP does ammo sundy give? That thing is more valuable to a push than a AMS. It should give like 50 XP per resupply, or at least 30, to encourage more people to cert into it.

It seems really random. I've never, as far as I know, stopped getting the XP ticks from it when i've had it out. But it could be I as unsquadded the times I was really racking in the passive XP gains. I've had one outfit mate talking about how great it was, than another saying he ONLY gets XP from squad re-supplies. So it seems really random.

Yeah and not only is the repair one not give XP it is pretty worthless until you level it up 3 or 4 times.

I would believe it was an anti-exploit mechanic if it applied to medics and engineers. As it is, I think it's either an oversight or, more likely, a bug that needs to be fixed.
