This was the worst weekend for me as far as bugs in game. And there are several.
1. I get out of vehicle to repair. Can't repair. Can't get back into vehicle. Pressing E like crazy. No luck. 2. Get out of vehicle and it disappears. I've gotten to the point of afraid of getting out of vehicle for the fear of losing it. 3. Lag. I was in beta also, never had lag until this pass weekend. 4. I have fallen through the ground several times. 5. Vehicle exploding, killing me saying I'm out of boundary's and I'm not. BUT,,, regardless of the bugs, I still love this game. |

These are all new bugs since the recent patch, all have been reported but none are fixed yet. And apparently there are a lot more like some of the chassis upgrades not working and the underbarrel grenade launcher being even more bugged than usual.
Apparently these are very common bugs but I've only encountered one thus far which is the vehicle disappearing. So I suspect that whatever is causing the bug is very specific depending on vehicle loadout. I've had one sundie disappear after I deployed and got out. When I get out, there was another sundie deployed less than 100 meters away. The same sundie wasn't visible while driving mine even though it was right in the path I took. I shouldn't have been able to deploy my sundie with this one so close either. I also still had my vehicle in my window and was able to access it via page down. This all occured on Amerish, wierd. As for the racer chassis bug on the ESF's, I've noticed it's less common on Amerish but always occurs on Indar. I have yet to check Esamir. Last edited by The Messenger; 2012-12-16 at 09:42 PM. |

What faction, continent, vehicle, and loadout? Maybe we can figure out what the problem is and perhaps find a temporay solution until the devs fix it. |

I logged into PSU tonight to start a new thread on a bug I've been having happen but I'll add to this thread instead.
I've been having a synchronization issue where I'll get in an aircraft at the NC warpgate but after I fly out of the bubble, it's like I've entered an empty continent. Bases are devoid of all life, despite the main map showing a battle raging all around (minimap shows nothing). If I land and exit, my vehicle disappears, but still shows on the vehicle management pane on the right. The area status on the left shows the NC warpgate no matter where I go. I can fly out into the no-fly zones, over the ocean. I can crash into buildings and environment with full afterburn and my aircraft doesn't explode. I've taken advantage of when it happens to practice aerial maneuvers I wouldn't try otherwise. I had it happen this afternoon riding a Flash. I rode it over to an enemy outpost, but when I got there I knew it was broken because the area status showed that I was still in the base I'd left. I dismounted my Flash and suddenly the area status updated to show the right outpost, held by the enemy, but there was still nary a soul, and my Flash was gone. Figuring that maybe there was just nobody defending the base, I ran up to the capture point, but it didn't respond to my presence. I ran down to an enemy vehicle terminal and destroyed it, getting XP. I was about to redeploy because of the bug when a friendly Reaver flew overhead, which was odd, since I normally don't see anyone, friendly or enemy. I wondered if he was bugged out too. It's really strange, like I've entered a parallel universe, which I guess it probably is, some sort of strange instance I'm not supposed to be in. I suspect that to improve performance, the rest of the world isn't rendered and can't be reacted with until you get within a certain distance. Ever see that episode of Star Trek with Geordi and Ensign Ro, where they end up out of phase with the rest of the ship? That's what it feels like. It's possible that when I travel in a fast vehicle (Reaver or Flash) I manage to enter the non-rendered instance before it actually loads (because my PC is crap). Instead of the client figuring this out and rendering the world, it keeps my position recorded as to where I was before I entered the non-rendered instance, and the only way to correct the issue is to return to the rendered instance (where I was when the bug started) or redeploy so I load a new area. Weird! Last edited by Electrofreak; 2012-12-17 at 01:03 AM. |

Seriously? Do you play much? After the last big patch, my outfit is plagued by it. Many dozens of occurrences. It seems to happen randomly and it affects every vehicle type. I mostly get it with my squad's Sunderers but it just happened to my lightening in the last hour. It's extremely common. We've even seen variants where the vehicle vanishes completely for a handful of seconds and them re-appears in a non-usable state. It's VERY demoralizing... especially since it wastes resources and there's nothing you can do about it. If you're rolling with the Zerg, it doesn't matter as much but if you're an independent squad, it can be a total wipe.

Haha I wouldn't have figured out what happened if my outfit didn't tell me my sunderer had turned into casper. Or when I called one of our new members a f'n c't because he couldn't find me on the map only to realise after the fact he had the bug happen to him and his sunderer. However as more people catch onto this, I imagine ghost sunderers full of people being directed by their outfit driving into areas and jumping out to blind side people. God imagine if people figured out how to recreate it, then we would really be up shit creek

This is worse than before patch. Before patch, it was about 50/50 whether it would resupply properly. After patch, I have sat in spawn testing it with an ammo pack down, and I've had times where it goes 15-20 terminal resupplies before it would finally resupply one grenade on the ammo pack, and even then, it only works for about 3-4 grenades total before it stops resupplying. I got completely fed up with it and now I just go heavy assault all the time; it's very frustrating having your entire existance/method of play revolve around a weapon that doesn't work, and it completely ruins the engineer class for me.
As for the Sunderer bug, this is a big deal, too. Thankfully, I haven't been much of a Sundy driver lately, because it would drive me up the wall to have a Sundy disappear or to constantly get locked out of it after I got out. Getting locked out has happened to me, but I wasn't going anywhere with the Sundy (I was just parking it and leaving) so it wasn't too big a deal. |

Bugs encountered this weekend that shit me the most.
The Sunderer bugs, cant get back in, cant repair. And as per the video below, the ghost Sundy. The epileptic fit inducing screen flashing cancer of the eyes....ffs fix it. Vehicles taking mystery damage while you are in the middle nowhere. You repair, others repair but its health just drops to fast. I understand there is probably something somewhere shooting it but there is no indication of something hitting it so you have nfi from where its coming from. It aint from above. People exploiting the ability to enter walls. |

The reason I'm asking of the setup is because I'm wondering if a certain vehicle upgrade maybe causing it. I've pulled dozens of ESF's and lightnings since the patch and never had any issues. I've pulled a few sundies and had it happen only once. I've also noticed that one of the bugs is more prevalent on different continents. The few bugs I have encountered constantly is the ESF's speed and the hill bug for vehicles. Damn tanks handle like a bar of soap in a bathtub now. |
