Server Merge/Character Transfer

Has there been any word from the devs about server merges and transfers? I had the best time playing against TB and the rest of the players on Amerish (which was FULL!!!!) on Waterson and it reminded me of when the servers used to be really busy most weekends and were high pop. I usually log in some nights and just see nothing going on and log out again.

We seem to have a ton of servers that are usually low pop most of the time and the rest of the servers would benefit from the influx of players. Most nights (including weekends it seems) have only 2-3 big fights going on across the multiple continents and it can only get emptier once more continents come in.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else knew what was going on with that front? There's no other game I know of that gives the same feeling of massive battles that this game does and I want it to keep going strong!
