Changing Continents

Hi there, just starting to really get into the game but am having a little problem.

I'm a Level 6, Vanu Sovereignty Light Assualt, I've been playing on the Esamir Continent but when i try to deploy in another continent the usual deploy countdown works as normal but when finished nothing happens.

As you can expect this is getting frustrating seeing as I am playing with a friend who is able to deploy between them.

Are you trying to use the instant action deploy function while you're dead? That's the only thing I can think of, since if you try doing it without respawning first, the counter just counts down to nothing and stops.

The other method of course (and if it's just broken for you, is the better option) is to go to the warpgate and switch continents using the terminals, then try deploying.

if the cont is poplocked (meaning your faction has too many soldiers already there or there are too many players already) you get a popup in the top of the Hud telling how many soldiers are left before you teleport.
at the end you are asked if you want to warp to that continent. press Y.
