Just some clarification questions for hotdropping.
Is it strictly controlled by the pilot? If so which key by default kicks everyone out? Can you initiate the hot drop out of the galaxy yourself, (by default E)? And just to reconfirm, unlike deployment drops, you can not engage in any movement (guiding) while hotdropping else you go splat? No movement until you hit the ground. Reason I ask is our squad is going to start implementing better use of the galaxy and I haven't frequented one enough to be perfectly sure. Thanks CC |

The pilot can force hot drop by hitting page down (for vehicle permissions) and locking the vehicle to everyone. That will kick everyone out. Anyone in the Galaxy can hot drop whenever by E'ing also.
You can move I think, but there was a bug a while ago where if you didn't hit a perfectly flat surface it bugged out and splatted you. I don't know whether that was fixed. |

It seems that if you still drop from a really high height you still have a chance of being turned into ground pulp. It happened to me like a week ago. It kind of sucks having to rely on low drops because doing it high kills half our squad.
