1. Better air controls... or at least a "Training Spawn" that I can practice in! I just cannot for the life of me get the hang of flying yet. This disappoints me. By better I mean lower the sensitivity, I got it to minimum and I still feel it's over doing it. Course I am trying to fly with an Xbox controller... I should fix that...
2. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but why does it default to load out 1 when I spawn? I want to play with Load-out 2, which in my case is using my rifle not my shotty. When I go to fire and hold down the trigger and nothing happens it's most disconcerting. Grrr 3. Faster way to mute people playing "GO GO POWER RANGERS" music in proximity. I wear headphones to play, I'm a little deaf in both ears, getting blasted with your crappy sound trolling is literally painful. Having to stop, hit esc, go to social, find your name and then mute you for all eternity is not cool. How about an option to list the last 10 people in order of heard in proximity at the top of the list, cause trying to find "Powerrnagerdude" in the list of 50 TR soldiers while in the heat of battle ain't hacking it. 4. Global Thermo-Nuclear War... wait, WHOPR says that's pointless, scratch 4. 5. A short pause, after jumping. Bunny hopping is the BANE OF ALL SHOOTERS. Period. No, you, you reading this about to hit reply and call me noob, lol learn to play! You stop that right now. Bunny Hopping isn't a "tactic" it's abusing the net code and lag to twitch out. It's absolutely not skill, it's childish. The only, reasonable and effective way to stop the bunny hopping is to add a small, .75 second delay between "hopping". 6. A good sammich, I'm hungry. 7. Destroy/Destroyed. Yeah, that's great and all and clear, but in the heat of the moment us older gamers actually have to stop for half a moment to see "Is that a good or a bad Generator?" Could you make the text for Destroy in bold Blue, and Destroyed in Bold RED? Or give us this option, and if this option exist would someone please point me to it and then mock me? KK Thanks. 8. Exp bonus for playing on lower population continents, or rotate XP/Cert bonuses to draw folks out of Indar 24/7 365. I LIKE INDAR, however.... I want to fight people elsewhere. 9. Motorcycles, cause 4 wheelers are soooo PS1 10. Parachutes. Yeah, you heard me, parachutes. I like playing as Heavy Assault. I don't like having to go light assault when base jumping into points or off towers. I feel emasculated, or naked... okay I feel weak. There I said it, vulnerable. Gimme a parachute ala Star Trek (the reboot) that I can reuse. Only good from heights of say... 50m or higher. Think about it! A flotilla of Galaxies come over, and then the lines of parachutes come falling behind them. EPIC. Thank you for your time in reading my deranged rantings.

1. I thought (hoped) they had fixed the sensitivity issues with controllers and joysticks?
If it's a training area you want then just take a look at the roadmap. 2. Had this happen to me too, If I remember correctly... Yes, it does. 3. I hear yah... No pun intended. The ingame voip can be irritating as hell. 4. Aw, so you don't want to play a game? 5. Meh. Never had a problem with it myself, but I'm not going to take any sides on this issue... Just, meh. 6. Uh aye, me too. 7. Not sure what the problem is but I don't think you can. Would be nice to have full control over all the UI elements and the colour/tint/transparency they have. Could be wrong though, some time since I last logged in 8. Don't think it would really help to draw people away from Indar, a bonus to smaller amounts of xp can't compete with no bonus to large amounts of xp from fights at the crown. I'm going to say wait for the merges then see what can be done. 9. Vroom vroom! 10. They could always just make it a certification, if enough need is voiced. Not really sure how that would extend to the galaxies, since you can already just jump out of those no problem. Would look cool, but that's about it

Tic-Tac-Toe
It's morning, change this to Waffles!
I was thinking more along the lines of a Harley... deep rumble, hear it for miles Look cool for Gal Drops, and let me basejump as a heavy assault, damn it.

I agree with 3, disagree with 1 and 10 and neutral to the rest (actually I just don't wanna reply to the rest, lol).
1. I like it, seems nice to me, but I'm using mouse and keyboard, so... I hope they fix it for other controllers, then; 3. There's a lot of it, there's also the rappers at Warpgate on Helios server that think "shit" rhymes with "whore"; 10. Then people would never use the Drifter Jump Jets. I like to play as Heavy Assault as my main job and I learned to keep it on the floor, it's nice and when I need to jump off a tower I just use my heavy shield. You can also jump off to lower levels or climb down on the external structure of the tower. |

Yes, yes it does default to loadout one for complaint 2: or at least it does if you switch classes. Bloody annoying but oh well. There used to be a quick easy way to solve number 3: as there was a mute button right next to whoever was transmitting in prox/platoon/squad voip but it's gone now (for whatever reason) here's to hoping they'll put it back in. Don't worry, we'll get 4: sorted just as soon as OSs are back in. You'll learn to run as soon as you hear it warming up, unless they're doing away with that noise, in which case you'll learn to hate it. All I can say for 5: is, yeah. Sudo make me a sammich. IDK if that color would work, may be confusing for those who use empire colors and would be worthless for those who are colorblind. More options is always nice though. Once contlocking comes into play, 8: won't be a problem as you won't have a link. You'll have to pay for the higher insurance for 9:. For 10: You can already float out of a gal like a pretty pretty princess and if there's parachutes in the game then we're back to flying VS MAXs. You don't want that, nobody wants that (except maybe the VS, but who cares about VS?) |

Playing this morning, there's two things I would really like:
1. Utility status HUD. (Think Alt-H for PS1) Mainly for Engineer this would feedback what deployables are in the world and what pesky enemies have found and neutralised. 2. Flash Scout Radar range drawn on the minimap. A faint blue circle or something showing range. Because I struggle with what 25, 50, 75 and 100 meters looks like on the minimap. Thanks

Y'know what I want? The ability to see Squads/Platoons before joining them, or to look at a player and find out what Plat he's in and/or even join it (in the commo rose maybe?). I often find myself squadless, not knowing anyone around me and would like to join up with whomever I'm fighting alongside.

I like the cut of your jib, MrVic.
One thing I'd like to see? Specialized classes, some specifically geared to more supporting roles. I think it'd be cool to see some things like a dedicated commander class, a hacking class, a drone engineer, and a forward air controller. These classes would be based off of the standard 5 classes (I really don't consider Maxes to be standard) and would require certifications to unlock their base functionality as well as further capabilities. I think it would be great to add further tactical depth while also giving players who prefer supporting roles more specialization and "support power" in exchange for certs and some offensive power. Also, I'd love to see a small dropship to accompany the Galaxy. Also, buff Galaxies. |
