71st Icarus Air Cavalry
Emphasis on rapid response and deployment.

Tactics:
Focuses on rapid insertion of infantry units from the air with support from dedicated air and ground units. Flexibility is key to success.

Favored strategy:
A three phased attack on large strategic hubs.
Phase 1 is to drop platoons made up mostly of infiltrators, medics, and engineers in the territories surrounding the primary target. Their mission is to cut off the target and suppress enemy reinforcements from coming from outside. Snipers pick off infantry and engineers lace the area with mines. They hack terminals and turrets, and if possible to do with minimal loss, capture the base (although this may not be advised, as then the enemy will be free to spawn vehicles and infantry without being harassed)
Phase 2 is to initiate a large scale galaxy drop on the target. ICU is the primary target.
Phase 3 is to have an armor column coming in to reinforce phases 1 and 2 simultaneously.

Players of any level and skill set are welcome, but flexibility is key.

Currently the outfit is relatively small (18 at time of posting) but eventually I hope to get enough people to execute the above operation.
