JP McDaniel interviewd MLG CEO Sundance DiGiovanni about this past weekends MLG Winter Championship. He also asked about PlanetSide 2 and the partnership with SOE. Sundance did not reveal any additional details regarding the long term plan however said that "The end result is to have a partner that we have a close relationship with" and talked about John Smedley and Matt Higbys passion for the game. Talk about PlanetSide 2 starts at 32 minutes and 40 seconds.

I like Sundance and I think that this partnership with soe will bear some nice fruit for both parties involved.

Sounds like him and the devs are so close that he has a lot of influence on the future direction of PS 2. Which I guess isn't necessarily a bad thing..
