Gotta give some props here to VS on Miller.
In the few hours i have been playing (refers to sig), i have seen more useful orders and regional chat than in probably the whole time i have been playing TR (BR40ish). Good tactical overviews and advices via /Orders, useful advices and situational reports on /Region on a constant basis, really enjoyable. Infact i'm seriously considering permanently moving over to my VS genderbender babe (and scrapping the whole "not using any certs on this char" plan). Now before you say "traitor", doing that would actually complete the circle for me because i started as VS waaaaaay back in Planetside 1 - but eventually moved over to TR. Leaves two questions: Why is TR slacking so much when it comes to tactical awareness and communication, and how is the situation on NC side? |

TR outfits are organized in Terran Republic Alliance Miller (TRAM) with their own communication channel (CR6) and I won't exactly say they're slacking. The fact that TR usually has the most continent locks on Miller is TRAM working in the background. They even took Indar tonight during a joint alarm clock ops. |

ONLY using "TRAM" sounds slightly counterproductive to the faction as a whole to me, regardless of the impressive feat that is taking indar. Though that also deserves a "thumbs up"; Thumbs Up! And quite frankly, not having ten seconds to give a useful /Order or helpful /Re also gives off a bit of an elitist vibe. Last edited by Babyfark McGeez; 2013-03-28 at 09:17 AM. |

I have my NC 'main' on Miller and actually play my VS 'alt' on Cobalt all the time...because I just don't get good fights on Miller. I end up following a zerg ghost-capping on Amerish/Esamir, or getting steamrolled by an opposing zerg. I've been assuming all the good feedback about Miller was down to it having a really strong outfit presence, and so, in a way, being less suitable for non-outfit players. Like playing without an outfit meant that great fights were going on somewhere (hence all the positive comments about Miller on here) but I was essentially never able to find the party. But it sounds like that's not how you've found it? Apologies if this derails your thread, I was going to start my own but I'm interested in the fact that you've had a completely different time on the same server. |

Hehe, this weekend actually made me solely play as TR for obvious reasons. ;p
The last-hex battles at scarred mesa, the crown and especially spec ops training camp were mindblowing and on par with experiences i had in PS1, simply awesome stuff. And since apparently the coordination of this TR communication system made it possible i just wanted to thank everyone involved for the fun. So basically, thumbs up TR lol. And also thumbs up VS and NC for these desperate attempts to take us down. Also i saw good and plentiful public orders and reports, looked to me like the lock on indar made TR a bit more "faction" orientated and made use of everyone around (Like publicly announcing assaults at the crown and stuff). Kinda sad to see the lock gone, the casual defense play was really entertaining without having to concentrate completely on the game all the time. |

Yes its a persistent world, yadda yadda but setting your alarm clocks to 3am to log in and take a cont from what can only be described as the "random peeps" hardly qualifies for any "thumbs up" in my book.
Holding onto the cont lock for 3-4 days under constant bombardment from VS and NC does however warrant a thumbs up, so kudos for that. On Miller, EU, locking a cont between hours of 6pm and Midnight will be a feat to be proud of and bleat on about on the forums..... Just saying |

That's why these TR guys deserve my thumbs up this time (even though worded like that it sounds kinda wrong...). That's all. |
