The ReachCast has been assimilated. Resistance was futile. Great show, sad I had to miss it. Was getting a new door and new windows in my apartment. Oh and Pinterest? Really, Gryphon?:/ (Not even going to comment on Noxx's weekend job)

Jenny, I agree about the loners joining outfits via the alert system. It works, we have a few core players with us now after seeing our line of tanks or a coordinated assault on a base. They see that and join in and get hooked!

Thanks guys, that was really enjoyable to listen to. I think you all have a good rapport going on with eachother, keeps it funny.
Also, I really liked Torkz's suggestion about having 'opted-in' squad leaders to lead outfit-less players who have just logged in. It is often quite disheartening to log in, hit the insert key and end up in a squad where no one speaks to eachother and no one leads. This happens at least 50% of the time when you join the 'insert key' squads. It's ok for me because I know now how to leave the squad and join an outfit squad in the squad tab of the UI, but I can imagine that for many new players, they quickly get tired of the complete lack of teamwork in their random squad and they get bored. I totally agree with hamma about the player lead resource mining type things. I disagree about the lattice kinda, I don't think they will put it out there unless it worked as intended. The idea is simply less choice in targets but I'm sure they can create a system that doesnt take too many of those choices away. People seem to think that those lines are where you would have to travel too, I don't think they would do that.
I don't think it will fix the game. I want to see what it does on test server though, first before I decide. |

I shouldn't worry too much, Hamma; Google streaming tools are a piece of crap, though some sources suggest that people use a Wired connection for broadcasts. I think you should have a ReachCast once a month and then also an AGN Squad Beacon once every two months.
Regarding the subject about LMGs, I think the TMG-50 really has too much drift whenever you pull the trigger. I realise it has a foregrip and compensator, but it's not that great unless people are close enough to knofe you, which is horrible, and here's another thing... I also want a dumbfire for the Striker (even if it empties the magazine)! On a personal note, do you think we could have a Jason Voorhees hockey mask all in red for the TR MAXes? When it comes to one-person combat, I don't think you'll ever see a proper solution for it in an MMO because, on the whole, that's not what they were created for, and large outfits just bitch that you shouldn't be on an MMO if you want to do mostly solo-play. The fact that studios don't ever let you forget it, either, is another issue as it's all about the business model, and the most effective way for them to earn money is based on groups, not individuals. It's a tragedy but, I think, it's the cost of catering to thousands of players. |
