Ribbons, great idea. But why is there so little variety?
I've got this for my T1 Cycler and my TRAC-5. It's fine enough, but look at the colours. Red and blue. Why? I'm TR, so my ribbons should be TR-themed, especially for faction-specific guns. I don't know about VS/NC? Do you get the same ribbons as I do? I assume so. Do you want the ribbons to reflect the faction you're playing? I sure do. Faction-specific weapons should have faction-specific ribbons, in the colour of their empire. Doing this would add more flavour to the factions. If the ribbon you get when fighting for the TR is the same as the one you get when fighting for the VS or the NC, then, in my eyes, they mean a bit less. It would be great to have a bit of difference. P.S. In the game files, there are a few ribbons we haven't got in-game yet. This one is called 'ribbon_facility_indar' Does this imply that there will be a base cap ribbon for each continent? Amerish and Esamir have similar ribbons. That is basicly what they seem to be there for, yes. A reward for playing actively and well... Or rather perhaps an incentive.

I would like them to display what ribbons you have, how many, and which you still need on the players site. They could also add medals for a certain amount of ribbons. Battlefield 3 had a great system for this; a nice little fun thing on the side to kill time.
