My physics with all drivers I tried would routinely start showing some sort of fractal geometry around the area, taking up the entire screen with no hope of vision. It would only clear when I ran really far away from the area (hard to do when you cannot see where you are going) or died a few times. Had no issues with frame-rates, but as soon as i clicked it off, the issues went immediately away.
And off went PhysX. |

My game hasn't been able to play for 2~ GUs now.
all I get is my FPS flipping out (5-60) and it giving me a massive headache from just looking at the screen for a couple of seconds x3 for what happens its just like in that video of you running around with the pistol+knife and everyone porting around. Turning off the Phx does nothing to help.. and its the only game that acts like that. I just boot up the game and get that messed up screenshow non stop.

My friends reporting that using a secondary videocard dedicated to physx, really negates the performance impact of the physx on the game, so you get the same performance with it on or off.
Also, it removes those problems that when the game got lots of effects, your GPU chokes to death! But the truth is, those effects really distract most players and aren't that nice, so most of them just turn it off and be ok with that.

At least you guys can even use it. As an AMD user I can't even think about turning PhysX on or my system will burn it hogs so much power.
Last time I tried to use PhysX was in Borderlands 2 and couldn't go for 2 minutes before the game went from running meh to slideshow. Don't even have the room in my micro tower for a 2nd card to get around this. Hell, I hardly had room for the one card I jammed in there in the first place with the limited space for wires and such. My 6870 almost touches my RAM cards even. |

Video showing why quick knives suck, should be an actual weapon slot you have to switch to, another reason why I don't play Planetside 2 anymore, never see this shit in Planetside.
It's more likely Fraps if you're using that. |

I get exactly the same, posted in a thread where an nvidia developer answered a few weeks ago. He said they were working on it.. but so far nothing.
GTX660 here, the game will run fine most of the time. Then inevitably at some point it will slow down like this, really horrible stuttering. Sometimes minimizing makes it go away temporarily. |

High end amd card for playing the games normally maxed out (7870+)
40$ Nvidia gt610 for physx No lag, even with physX because it's only using the nvidia card for physx, and the amd card for everything else. With two nvidia cards it tries to use both for physx and it lags like in the video. |

Just another data point:
I have a GTX-670 with the latest beta drivers. When I turn Physx on I get random client crashes where the screen simply freezes and eventually the client quits. I can usually play for 1-2hrs between crashes, and I haven't noticed any particular trigger event. It's been this way for several GUs. |
