I've downloaded it and it's AMAZING! I've played mostly single-player thus far because there's only 1 server up that seems to be stuck on Bocage3(all tanks no choppers or airplanes). There are alot of changes, that I noticed:

The Humvees are slower
The Humvee Tows blow-up tanks with 1 shot
The tanks are faster and their guns are much more powerful
The Apache seems easier to fly, more smooth
The AC-130 is a pain in the ass to fly, and if you bail out if in mid air and it crashes into a mountain, it won't blow-up
The M124 is incredibley fast for a helicopter
The SU-25 is a cooler more rag-tag version of the A10
The special ops MP5 with a scope is accurate up to about 100 yds
The M2A3 now carriers 4 troops inside it's belly
The mobile artillery is very cool

All in all, very cool update. The playing field is much more even now, which I think is great. The Iraqi players should have anything to bitch about now.

And you have to subscribe to play the game. You have to get a key from Fileplanet, similar to a CD-Key.

I HATE EA! my battlefield and my c&c generals both stopped working this weekend it's really pissing me off, first, on saturday my bf died, it just shows the slash screen then never opens the actual game, and now since i got the 1.5 patch for generals it freezes every time the spash screen comes up, maybe they should get rid of those things
as i understand it, tons of ppl have the same bf problem that i do, it's just shit wrong with the game, but i'm the only person i've heard of with the generals patch. FUCK EA GAMES, they are good untill they stop working, then they just remain unfixed, so i never got to play dc yet
