Test Server Bug or Feature?

I'm not sure if it's intended, but is it a bug that VS Scythe now flies like a BF helicopter? Where you have to look down and hold ascend to fly at a proper speed?

I haven't logged into the game for quite a while, maybe it's something that is supposed to be for some time now?

Isn't stock Scythe always like that until you give it some upgrades? Mine's been stock for ages since I'm such a balls pilot XD
