most old school ps1 guys have a bit of rage that we've learned to harness to motivate the zerg under us. malorn is likely following the old cr5 comchat protocol of moving the zerg around. He isn't yelling AT you, but he is telling you exactly how pissed he'll be if you continue to derp around.

If you go by text color in other MMOs then Higby is the party guy.. since a lot have blue text as party chat. Then T. Ray is that dude that is always in tell hell since purple is usually whisper text.
