Warning!! Do not buy the Fury inc nerf.

As with much of the more recent changes SOE has been putting the changes on the test server prior to launch. Currently the Fury on the test server has had its damage almost cut in half. Now this isn't absolute proof that the nerf will take place but it is a strong indicator. The issue now comes in they have yet again put an item on sale right before an incoming nerf is about to take place. I speak of the Mercy sale which took place before last update. Was a great deal that many were waiting on but SOE seemed to think it was a good idea to sell an item before giving it the old nerf bat. I leave it up to you guys to decide but our outfit felt it would only be right to bring this to light and show these shady sales SOE has been implementing.

EDIT: just tested it myself - Confirmed.

Currently takes 4 hits to kill a MAX.

On test it takes 6.

I really love the m525 on my prowler, but I think I can live with that, always adviced my gunners to shot the 10 shots all the time because the reload is fast, so a direct hit nerf won't be that bad, it will just be useless against enemy armor!

Even when they nerf it, it's still the best weapon you can have for the flash.

probably because flash cloak + 1hko fury was pretty cheesy. It's ridiculously good now, post-nerf it'll only be pretty good. I really don't know what you guys are crying about.

I think they are upset that the items is put on sale (with no explaination) the day be for the damage is cut by over half.

Over powered or not that a lame move by SOE.

P525 Marauder is NOT the M40 Fury. Which is very lucky because I too love my P525, been using it since Oct! Currently on test the P525 is still same stats as live.

I do think that the Fury is OP, especially on a Flash with Wraith cloaking (I have this combo myself, although don't use it much.).

BUT - really sneaky to offer the Fury in a sale immediately prior to a nerf! Assuming that the nerf does take place, that is.

If anyone has payed attention, the M40Fury is a GRENADE LAUNCHER. GRENADE LAUNCHERS fire LESS EFFECTIVE grenades than infantry throw. Imho, it is a very much needed because it is a GRENADE LAUNCHER.

Flash fury needed a nerf. Its too bad that its on sale right now before it gets the hit. Kind of a stupid decision imo.
