Vehicle Weapons Stabilization.

Vehicle weapons stabilization is needed. In PS1 we had horizontal vehicle weapon stabilization and it was great, in PS2 we should have both horizontal and vertical but instead we have nether This would make vehicle combat way more intense with high speed move while shooting engagements like real tank warfare. Vehicle engagements would be able to have a greater range allowing for much longer and more strategic fighting between tanks and other vehicles. One nice thing is if you put yourself in 3rd person while operating a gun on a vehicle you will see the gun go into stabilization mode so its already in game just currently turned off or not working for some reason.

This is now, what do you think a SciFi game 100s of years in the future should have?

This would be amazing for Liberator gunners.

As bumpy as the god dammed terrain is in ps2 this should be mandatory, or at least cert able.

A lot of people have been asking for it for a veeeery long time. No luck or definitive answers yet, but hopefully one day.
For me there can be no question as to whether or not it should be in the game. There's no good gameplay oriented reason for not adding it in. I just hope they [SOE] don't do something silly like make it a certable feature.

lol you think it's bad on main cannons, try using a striker in the back of a Harrasser while Stubek is driving, ain't gonna happen

Yes, I think it's needed and agree that it could be something acquired with certs.

I don't know that it should be available across the board, but most vehicles would benefit greatly from turret stabilization.

Oh, and I thought the jiggly bloody turrets were my PC's fault. NOPE. Anytime the pilot banks, maybe to avoid fire, the reticle jiggles so fast my entire screen becomes a blur.

For whatever reason things got really jiggly in GU8. I hope they fix that.

But I don't really care about stabilization. Harder to aim without it and that's fine by me (that is also a valid gameplay reason to not have it: wanting aiming to be more difficult)

What we really need is vertical weapon stabilization. I'm not sure what you mean by "horizontal", if this means that the crosshairs will stay on target even while the vehicle turns, I thought we already had that? Anyway, we should have that.

+need this

I think we are asking it since day one of beta.
It must be really hard to implement because everyone know we need it fast!
Sometimes I play world of tanks, and even world war two tanks have a more stabilized turret then the ones in auraxis!
Most of tank fight happens with stationary tanks, what is retarded, I try to abuse my prowler speed and side armor to win a tank battle, but with all the bumping, unless I know the terrain is good, it is a risk maneuver.

I MIGHT agree with vertical stabilization, but only because there are so many uneven surfaces. Even that is a stretch, because aim compensation is only limited by skill. Removing it as a factor only makes the game more easy mode. It's what separates good tankers from bad ones.

It would be what separate good gunners from bad ones if we had dedicated crews...

Vertical stabilization would be a godsend at this point.

It separates good gunners for bad gunners as it is
Secondary and otherwise.
In tanks and your dedicated gunner harasser and Sundy. Your pet whine has nothing to do with this.
