Yeah they removed the apartments, i kinda liked that idea but i guess it had its flaws. We had previously discussed cities on the board before and how there should be a city continent, i stand by that, though i know as of right now this is not so.

Well, we really don't know the actual size of the sanctuaries, or atleast I think we don't, but anyway humans have only been on Auraxis for what, 20 years? There shouldn't be so great a population as to need continental cities yet, and I don't think many people would give up there homes on the other side of the wormhole for an apartment on some backwater planet.

And while we are on the topic. How do all the item merchants in games like DAoC get their money to buy your items? They never move. I, personally think they have mafia connections. It is just a game, and as such, will probably not make sense quite often. But, hey, your there to frag someone, not to fraternize with the townsfolk. I do wish they would add cities for urban combat but from what I have heard it would slow down the game. Oh well.

Well they had pretty largass cities in WW2 OL, and it wasn't all that laggy once they implemented Direct X Support, but then again all the models had really low polygon counts so I guess with planetside's graphics the lag in an urban environment would be unbearable.
