you know there's something wrong with an All Terrain Vehicle when it is worse at passing rough terrain than infantry.

The grade you're trying to go up there is pretty freaking ridiculous.

Indeed, silly Infiltrator, that's not how you drive to Raven's Landing!

I really don't get the point of this video. You're saying that the flash should be able to go up any steep rocky hill because a real ATV can do that?

IMO the traction in the video looks quite realistic.

i have driven motorbikes/ATVs that are little baby bikes to mid range ones, and i can tell you this: THE FLASH FUCKING SUCKS WITH HILLS AND GRIP. it is ridiclous. a mini ATV has more traction and can clime bigger hills than a military-grade ATV from the future?!

it is stupid. and if a person can run over a hill, the flash should be MORE than capable. finally someone pointed this gripe out.

As one of the biggest shareholders in NS systems.... I kinda was in the development factory one day getting the tour and may have played with some of the buttons on a critcial machine, I thought I was adding in spikey bits to the flash and one of those dolls that moons people... turns out when the nanites build them now they have greased wheels.. what I'm not an systems engineer, who knew

Been on more than my share of 4 wheelers and I can honestly say I've never seen one slide down a hill side-ways. Usually ends badly for the rider if they get side-ways on a grade that steep, or they simply steer perpendicular to the grade..

I find the Harasser handles much better than any other vehicle in the game. It would be cool if they did a handling pass on all the vehicles especially the ATV.

Is it illogical to assume the ATV would out-handle any other vehicle in game (currently) ?

Yes, they have high centers of gravity and a narrow track plus no driver restraints.
That should limit hill-climbing capability in particular.

A 45deg. slope is not something vehicles just go over at will and at speed. It'd be one thing if it stuck better while at crawling-speed, but under full throttle it should be all wheel spin and tipping and sliding.

They did do some sort of pass yesterday with collision of vehicles. Not entirely sure what, but I was flying my ESF, nose down, and ran into one tree, then attempted to get un-stuck and ran into another tree, and somehow didn't take any damage..
So being the brilliant person I am, I attempted to do it again except on purpose and as soon as I touched the tree I exploded.
But they did do some sort of pass on the collision of vehicles, just not sure exactly what it was. I was doing some things in my harasser, like jumping the entire distance from Hvar to the tower of Quartz ridge without taking damage, that I could never do before. I still managed to explode when taking a long distance jump over relatively flat ground, so they still have that issue where longer distance jumped = more damage taken, even though that's not true (even dirt bike riders can jump canyons!)

Harasser is the better option for this nonsense anyway.
