Can you post a Liberator vid?

As for the existing material - the new cam provides easier control in 3dP, but removes the ability to look around.

Yikes that's pretty bad for an ESF. I want that view on ground vehicles externally - but I want to be able to toggle it.

How is this a nerf? It effects all pilots equally. Man up and cockpit.

Not a fan.

Keep the 3rd person view as it is currently for ESF's.

I really, really really don't like this mechanic. It prevents peripheral vision in 3rd person. As a reaver w/hover frame I'm always changing direction and momentum and twisting different ways. Being able to look in different directions is a big deal. I really think that the reaver has a niche here and now a simple point of view change is nerfing it. I mainly play NC as a pilot but now I may just cert my Mossy more and change to a high speed style.

Not to mention the indirect advantage this camera view provides, it's MUCH easier to shoot in 3rd person. The center of your screen never moves, 3rd person mode isn't suppose to have accurate firing capabilities.

It makes me think of the virtual boy. I hope the Occulus Rift is a lot better.

It's the goddamn future of simming in a tiny box. So far my biggest complaint is that my eyelashes gum up the internal lenses, but I haven't finished sizing. It tracks noticeably faster than TRACKIR 5 - fast enough that you forget you're tracking at all.

I'll do up a pilot's thread on it when there's enough source material in the wild. Until then, middle mouse will have to do.

This is a bug. Higby just said on his twitter. They're fixing it at the moment.
